Event Premise
Event 3 will be the last event of this story: The Labrys Epic. Here’s where things were left off last time…
⚡⚡⚡
A storm raged as the shades entered Tartarus, the maimed hecatoncheires in tow. Fighting through beasts of the depths and those who have forsaken the gods, past riddles and reflections of themselves, along the river of white and through the graveyard of a titan, they finally reached the destined location.
Andronikos, the betrayer and the betrayed, arrived too late. The shades were ready for him. He would not complete his quest for the god-slaying axe. He would not be permitted to lead more souls astray. He would not leave this place alive, or as alive as one can be when they are already dead.
The heroes of Asphodel and the hero of the abandoned clashed. And Asphodel won.
But one matter remained; the axe. Knowing his cult would never stop their hunt for this weapon, a rite was performed. Thunder rumbled through the sky, a swirling storm forming in the void leading deeper still into the Underworld. Lightning sparked as the devotee of Zeus called out, and there appeared a golden labrys, the titan-slaying axe held by Zeus himself a millennia before.
And Time stood still.
⚡⚡⚡
… The next event begins where the last one ended. New characters (and anyone not at the final battle) will have a slightly different start to the game but won’t be kept out of the action for long, don’t worry!
Event Structure
Each game will focus around a small settlement in the Underworld, with linear-style tasks to complete in the Underworld and occasional opportunities to travel to non-Underworld locations. Noticeable paths will guide you to encounter areas – there is nothing to randomly stumble upon unless prompted by crew first.
The event is only currently catered for crew members, but it’s always better if everyone schedules their meals at roughly the same time as to not miss out on any game.

Combat
There will be at least two large and several smaller combat scenarios each event, spread across Saturday and Sunday in the early afternoon. These are designed to involve the entire playerbase, and there will be nothing occurring in the main town area during this time unless the combat is centred there. In the event of a town battle or invasion, there will always be one safe zone for anyone wishing to opt-out of the combat.
Many Quests are designed to not include combat, or for optional combat, as to not leave out low combatants.
Crewing
If you are interested in crewing an event in a more specifical way than playing NPC roles, please contact the team! We are constantly looking for more crew to help bring the game to life, and aim to write special roles for every member of crew who books in advance, as well as casual ambient roles to have breaks and socialise with players.
For this event, we are specifically looking for a makeup artist, musicians, and a confident storyteller.
