Asphodel (Story Arc 2)

With the rumblings in Tartarus secured and peace on the horizon, eyes turn upwards to Olympus. Hephaestus, master of the forge, has angered the pantheon with his actions, cursing Hera to be trapped upon her Throne. They know he is in the Underworld, and intend to come collect him. Old scars are opened, and new ones cut; what will happen with such a divided Olympus?

We are having a short break in 2026 from running Asphodel while we review the game and expand our ref team, as well as finding a more permanent home venue. If you’d like to join this project, get in touch directly via email to keith@fakeloregames.com

Aegis

The gods have warred, the titans are defeated, and the world is now in ruins. Some islands were protected by their patron gods, but most have been razed, the seas and land shifting from the battle. You have made your way to the Aegis, the centre of the world, to rebuild civilization after this calamity. Five factions offers different ideas on how this should occur, now you must help shape the future.

Aegis is an Ancient Greek fantasy game set in an alternate mythical history directly after the Titanomachy. It focusses on rebuilding society after a mythical apocalypse, re-establishing settlements, securing new borders, and establishing a new political leadership all while the new gods settle into Olympus and finish clearing the world of the Titan’s forces. You belong to one of the five fractured empires of Ilion, Atlantis, Movóros, Stygia, and Thrâix, each inspired by a different historical region or myth.

Development for this game began in early 2024 alongside our first Ancient Greek inspired game, Asphodel, and is intended to run after Asphodel’s first 3-part story arc. It is a faction based “mini fest” style game aimed to scale comfortably to 100+ players, where players balance working together to rebuild society with prioritising their own faction’s agendas. All characters will be human, with a focus on blending historical-style outfits with more subtle fantasy elements. While the game contains fantastical elements and magic, it is much more low-fantasy than Asphodel.

A test game is being developed for sometime in 2026; if you’d like to join this project, get in touch directly via email to keith@fakeloregames.com

Junebug

The frontier of space is a dark, cold place, and doesn’t take too kindly to visitors like us. Well too bad! We’re here now, stuck on this partially terraformed hunk of rock, and we’ve gotta make the best of it. Just gotta watch our backs for those lawless folk who’d rather burn the whole place down if they can’t own it.

Junebug is a game about life on a desolate planet, several generations after a colony fleet crashed there. You play a resident of the small spaceport town, doing your best to keep the place alive against all odds.

Due to the influx of UK Western LARPS in 2025, this project is being paused temporarily – we don’t wish to oversaturate the market! We’ll review this again in 2026.

Other Concepts

We have many ideas for games, and definitely not enough time for them all! Here’s a teaser of some of our working titles. If you’d like to work on a game with us, do get in touch! None of these are currently planned for 2026, though this may change if a permanent home venue is found.
