  • Melas was born in Athens around 400BC into a well respected family of priests. He was taught a health respect for the Gods from an early age, and how to garner their favour.

Using these skills, he made a name for himself in the Second Peloponnesian War advising Athenian commanders on how best to direct their faith in order to gain victory. The prayers to recite, what they must sacrifice, so that the wisdom of the grey eyes goddess may guide them to victory. Melas' favour with the gods was believed to be so great that he even received a laurel wreath for his service.

Battles were won, glory was gained in the name of the Gods, but it was not enough. Sparta was relentless, unconventional, and after more than two decades of fighting, Athens was besieged. The Parthenon heaved, hundreds of voices crying out to the Gods for aid. But their pleas fell on deaf ears. Plague tore through the city, uncompromising.

Melas died, weak and alone, wondering what we had done to earn Their ire.

  • Removed lots of curses, beseeched favour and guidance from Athena using Ambrosia

Most notably gifted a Staff that could control monsters and was wreaking havos on the town to Hades, believing he could control best, earning his favour (black laurel)
